What's funny is that just a few weeks back you and your *breed* were being blamed for destroying the Japanese-ness of Japan. Ironically it may be you and your kids that save it.

May be a little bit off topic but when we and our daughter went for modeling shots - all other kids were either "half-breeds" or pure foreigners (very, very rarely pure Japanese kids) . Apparently this is what the people like to see in the catalogs and what makes them buy stuff.
Actually hikosaemon this is not a bad idea for some extra income.

I love reading entries like this because even though we are in the same country, the experiences are so vastly different-- I never see fellow foreigners at any government office I go to, for one.
